Jamie Foxx | Corinne Foxx: On April 12, the actor's daughter Corinne Foxx, 29, announced on Instagram that her father lately required medical attention.
We wanted to let people know that Jamie Foxx, my father, had a medical issue yesterday, Corinne wrote. Fortunately, he is already making progress towards recovery thanks to prompt action and excellent care. We are grateful for your prayers and are aware of how cherished he is.
She continued, "The family asks for privacy at this time."
The 55-year-old man's ex-girlfriend Connie Kline's sister Corinne didn't provide any other information regarding the incident. (With Kristin Grannis, he is also the father to their daughter Annalise Bishop).
Jamie was spotted in Atlanta on the set of his new Netflix movie Back in Action just two days ago, on April 10, according to TMZ. The project, in which Cameron Diaz also appears, is Cameron's first motion picture since she and Jamie Bell co-starred in Annie in 2014.
Jamie explained how he persuaded Cameron to come out of retirement for the film last year.
He exclusively admitted to E! News' Daily Pop in August, 'We just begged and pleased on my knees, like, 'Just give the people one more again. "This is just going to be fantastic," someone said. "We love her, we've been waiting on her."
By uploading a tape of a phone discussion between himself, the Bad Teacher actress, and Tom Brady, Jamie revealed that Cameron was leaving retirement back in June.
"Cameron I hope you're not angry. There's no going back now that I've taped this. Have to summon the GOAT to send another GOAT back, "June 29: Jamie tweeted. "We're back in action in our newest Netflix film, BACK IN ACTION with @CameronDiaz. Later this year, production will start!"
On their phone discussion, which was recorded, Tom said to Cameron: "In our conversation, Jamie mentioned that you need some advice on how to un-retire. I have a good chance of unretiring."
"Honestly, [You're] precisely what I needed," Cameron retorted.
