At the Cannes Film Festival, Jennifer Lawrence sports unusual footwear underneath her gown

 

On the Sunday red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival, Jennifer Lawrence took care to maintain a friendly atmosphere.

The 32-year-old Oscar winner wore a gorgeous Christian Dior couture cherry red gown as she walked the red carpet and attended a special screening of the movie Anatomy of a Fall in Cannes, France.

But Lawrence admitted that she was wearing some black flip flops underneath the exquisite outfit when she removed her gown to down the stairs.

Sahra Mani, the director of the last documentary she produced, Bread & Roses, and her colleague producer Justine Ciarrocchi joined Lawrence at the screening.

Lawrence showed up at the Bread & Roses photocall earlier on Sunday wearing a silver mesh outfit and shoes. A documentary titled Bread & Roses follows Afghan women who are under Taliban rule.
