Elliot Page Opens Up About Intimate Relationship with Juno Co-Star Olivia Thirlby During Filming

Elliot Page's New Memoir 'Pageboy' Unveils Surprising Revelations: Intimate Relationship with Olivia Thirlby during 'Juno' Filming

In his latest memoir 'Pageboy', 36-year-old actor Elliot Page shares unexpected details about his time working on the 2007 coming-of-age dramedy 'Juno'. Page claims that he and his co-star Olivia Thirlby began a passionate sexual relationship after a powerful makeout session on set.

As reported by The Daily Beast, Page describes being captivated by Thirlby from the moment he saw her. They found themselves in her hotel room with Billie Holliday's music playing in the background. Page reveals that Thirlby expressed her strong attraction to him, which he reciprocated.

"We started passionately kissing," writes Page. "From there, it escalated... we began engaging in sexual encounters regularly: in her hotel room, in our work trailers, and even in a small private room in a restaurant."

Page reflects on the irony of portraying a pregnant teenager in the film, noting that it was one of the first instances where they felt a sense of autonomy on set, free from hyperfeminization. 'Juno' symbolized for them a space beyond traditional gender norms.

Page, who came out as gay in 2014 and later as transgender in 2020, recounts the intense moments shared with Thirlby when she grabbed them in an empty living room in front of a couch.

Media outlets have reached out to Thirlby's representative for comment. Thirlby publicly identified as bisexual in 2011 and married Jacques Pienaar in 2014.

In a separate revelation last week, Page disclosed that they had once dated Kate Mara. Page explains that after experiencing heartbreak, Mara became the first person they fell for. Mara was in a relationship with Max Minghella at the time, who Page describes as supportive of Mara exploring her connection with Page.

"I never thought it was possible to love two people, but now I know I can," recalls Page, sharing Mara's words. "This happened right after I had come out as gay, a time of exploration and heartbreak."
