Jennifer Lawrence Clarifies Comments About Her Mom Selling Her Toilet

Jennifer Lawrence recently clarified comments she made about her mom selling her toilet. In an interview with media at the Tuesday premiere of her new film, No Hard Feelings, Lawrence, 32, said that she had gotten the story backward.

"I ended up getting it backward," Lawrence said. "My mom bought Lee's toilet. She didn't sell me her toilet."

Lawrence's original comments had come during an interview with The Howard Stern Show in February. On the show, Lawrence said that her mom had sold her toilet to her friend Lee Daniels, the director of Precious and The Butler.

"My mom sold me her toilet," Lawrence said on The Howard Stern Show. "She sold it to Lee Daniels. He bought it from her. It's a really nice toilet."

Lawrence's comments about her mom selling her toilet had caused some confusion, as many people thought that she meant that her mom had literally sold her the toilet that she used to use. However, Lawrence's clarification at the premiere of No Hard Feelings makes it clear that she was simply referring to the fact that her mom had sold Daniels a toilet that she no longer needed.

Lawrence's comments about her mom selling her toilet are just one example of the many funny and candid stories that she has shared about her family. In the past, Lawrence has also talked about how her mom used to make her wear a helmet when she was a kid, and how her dad used to make her eat her boogers.

Lawrence's sense of humor is one of the things that makes her such a popular actress. She is not afraid to be herself, even if it means sharing embarrassing stories about her family. And her fans love her for it.

In addition to her sense of humor, Lawrence is also known for her talent as an actress. She has won an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award. She is also one of the highest-paid actresses in the world.

Lawrence's next film, No Hard Feelings, is a comedy about two former high school friends who reconnect after one of them gets out of prison. The film is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, who also directed Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

No Hard Feelings is scheduled to be released in theaters on February 10, 2023.
