Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes have reconciled. The performers were seen interacting with one another in a video posted on the Twitter account of 102.7 KIIS FM on Friday while visiting Coachella in Indio, California.
In the brief clip, Mendes, 24, and Cabello, 26, can be seen conversing while each is holding a drink in their hands.
The "Havana" singer wore a white bustier top and denim cargo pants for the evening outing, while the "Mercy" singer wore a graphic T-shirt, beige pants, and a bandana around his neck.
They can be seen kissing while watching a performance together in another video posted online by a Mendes fan account.
Before dating in July 2019, Mendes and Cabello were friends for a number of years.
Throughout the summer, they were seen engaging in a lot of PDA, and in August of that year, they made their first significant public appearance as a couple at the MTV Video Music Awards, where they gave a duet performance of "Seorita."
During the COVID-19 epidemic, the two were quarantined in Miami together, and Mendes said in August 2021 that this experience deepened their friendship.
"Camila and I were so lucky because we were able to just kind of be in a still moment, and it was the first time in the past six years that we've been able to just relax and not work at all," he remarked at the time in an interview with Audacy Check In. We were riding bikes throughout Miami, and it just seemed so lovely.
However, Mendes and Cabello jointly declared their separation on Instagram in November 2021.
The statement, which they both shared on their Instagram Story, read, "Hey guys, we've decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever." We began our relationship as best friends and will be best friends throughout.
"We are incredibly grateful for your support both thus far and in the future. Shawn and Camila," the statement said.
