Likewise, Larry David came across the court from his own courtside seat to shake Nicholson's hand. Cameras captured the fleeting yet lovely moment. on a season one episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm, Shaquille O'Neil was reportedly tripped by David on the same seat.

Nicholson went to the game with his son Ray and grandson Duke, and they all enjoyed watching the homage to Nicholson on the jumbotron at Crypto.com Arena. Nicholson appeared in The Shining and then as Batman's recognisable Joker in the video montage. Then, the lens focused on Nicholson as he was seated.
