Kerri-Anne Kennerley stood up to over I'm A Celeb make-up allowance

I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! | Kerri-Anne Kennerley: Kerri-Anne Kennerley's special I'm A Celeb allowance was always going to raise a ruckus her kindred campmates - and in tonight's episode, MAFS star Domenica Calarco defies the television legend.

Kerri-Anne had been asked to appear on I'm A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! each season since the show's presentation, and always rejected until this year she was made an offer she "was unable to decline."

She made sure the contract had a couple of stipulations - namely, that she be allowed to bring make-up into camp, to keep up her usual glam appearance.

The show made no confidential of this before KAK's arrival at camp in last night's episode, with her kindred contestants returning to camp to find a new, restricted bed, complete with two bags filled with make-up items.

In a preview clip for tonight's episode, fiery former MAFS contestant Dom is first shown complaining about Kerri-Anne's special treatment to her kindred campmates.

"For what reason does she think it's alright that she gets make-up and no other individual does? As far as I might be concerned, it's like if I had something and I sat here eating it before everybody and didn't share. I feel as however there's a power imbalance there."

While several of different contestants ask her not to defy KAK with her interests, Ian 'Dicko' Dickson instead gives her a challenge: "How about you attempt and find a way of couching that in a way that's not excessively combative and disrespectful."

In no time afterwards, Dom sits down with Kerri-Anne at camp and attempts to do precisely that.

"I was simply wondering … how can one get allowed face wash and make-up in the wilderness?" she asks.

"Umm, one gets allowed it when one makes it a condition of coming in," Kennerley explains. "And that was an actual deal-breaker. I know make-up appears to be a weird thing as a deal-breaker … "

While viewers will have to wait until tonight's episode to watch the conversation play out in full, Kennerley was certainly unapologetic when asked about her special make-up clause by correspondent prior to entering the wilderness last week.

Asked how she'd feel if the other celebs reacted with jealousy to her special treatment, she gave a shrug and a smile.

"They ought to simply get better management. Not my issue to worry about."
