A friend claims in a Netflix documentary that Anna Nicole Smith's father tried to have sex with her after a Playboy party

According to a close friend of the late model, Anna Nicole Smith's father allegedly tried to have sex with her after a Playboy party in 1993.

After decades of estrangement, Smith's father, Donald Hogan, allegedly "tried to have sex" with the then-24-year-old Smith, according to the Netflix documentary "Anna Nicole Smith: You Don't Know Me," which was released on Tuesday. According to Smith's friend Melissa "Missy" Byrum, who claimed to be Smith's secret "female lover," the alleged incident took place after the two men reconciled.

Byrum, who seemed upset, said, "She told me that her father had tried to have sex with her." "I found that to be very upsetting. She was so heartbrokenly let down.

The document claims that Smith tracked down Hogan in 1993 using a private detective she had hired to find her estranged father. During their phone conversation, Smith extended an invitation to her father and half-brother Donnie Hogan to join her at the Los Angeles Playmate of the Year celebration where she would be recognised. Hugh Hefner organised the reception at his Playboy Mansion, and Smith flew them both there.

Byrum, however, asserted that Smith had told her after the party that Hogan had tried to have sex with her.

While being questioned for the documentary, Donnie seemed to learn for the first time about the purported terrible incident.

"My dad? attacked her? It would be typical of him. Is it real, though? He first stated, "anything couldn't be," then adding, "I was there every step of the way, but I wouldn't rule anything out. Since I guess I wasn't present always, that might be accurate.

Smith was raised by her mother and grew up alienated from Hogan, who was sentenced to prison for raping Smith's aunt when she was 10 years old. Smith didn't meet her father until she was an adult.

Donnie made reference to the horrifying assault in the movie and said that Smith's father's estrangement from them was somewhat of a gift in disguise.

He declared, "My father is not the kind of guy you want to be alone with. "It won't make you feel secure. He is an evil person.

Two years after Smith's drug overdose death in February 2007, Hogan passed away in September 2009.
