Anxiety Replacement Therapy becomes the group's first UK No. 1 album, giving The Lottery Winners their first No. 1 album
The Lottery Winners | Record chart | Jessie Ware | Nines: The Lottery Winners took home this week's UK No. 1 album, defeating Nines and Jessie Ware in the process.

The group's third album, "Anxiety Replacement Therapy," which is from Leigh, Manchester, competed well all week against Jessie's "That!" In Monday's chart update, Feels Good! and the pair were at Nos. 1 and 2, respectively.

Jessie's glittering disco collection fell to No. 3 as rapper Nines quickly rose to the Top 3 and defeated her to claim this week's second spot.

Thom Rylance, the band's frontman, spoke with media about his hopes for the group's most recent album to reach No. 1 and revealed he's been using a photo of the Official Charts trophy as his phone backdrop for months.

"My friends The Reytons recently got a No. 1, and when we went on tour with them they all had this on the background of their phones," he admitted. I thought it was genius when they remarked, "We look at this every day to remind us why we're doing it."

The four-piece has a hectic schedule with a UK tour scheduled through May, but Thom still fantasises about checking off more items on his bucket list.

"We have some extremely intimidatingly large venues planned for the future. We'll hopefully be playing some really outrageous places before the end of this year," he said. "There's a stadium in Leigh Sports Village and I want to play it; if I play my hometown stadium, that would be the moment I'd feel like I've made it.

"Elton John and Lionel Richie are the only ones who have done it, so I want to be the next!"
