Blake Shelton will be replaced by Reba McEntire in Season 24 of The Voice
The Voice! • Reba McEntire • Blake Shelton • Gwen Stefani • NBC: Following Blake Shelton's exit from The Voice, Reba McEntire will serve as a spokesperson for country music as she transitions from mega mentor to full-time coach.

On Monday, May 15, at the NBCUniversal upfront presentation, NBC revealed McEntire as Shelton's replacement. The 24th season co-stars of McEntire were also revealed by the network. Since they currently work as coaches alongside Shelton and Niall Horan, Kelly Clarkson and Chance the Rapper won't be back for Season 24, however John Legend and Gwen Stefani will be joining Horan in the red swivel chairs. In the autumn of 2023, The Voice Season 24 will debut.

Just before The Voice Season 23 live broadcasts begin on May 15 at 8/7c on NBC, the announcement was made.

The top eight performers will take the stage live for the first time during the concerts in front of Shelton, Chance, Clarkson, and Horan in an effort to advance to the finale. The results of the viewers' real-time voting for their favourite performer will be announced at the conclusion of the programme.

McEntire previously made an appearance on The Voice in 2011 to serve as Team Blake's Battle Advisor. The Country Music Hall of Famer offers advice to candidates who go past the Battle Rounds and Knockouts as a Season 23 mega mentor. Shelton has been a part of The Voice since the beginning, making him the only coach to do so.

The competition's format changed this season with the introduction of the new "Playoff Pass" to fans. In the Battle Rounds, each coach is permitted to use the Playoff Pass once. Both vocalists can proceed through the competition, but the winner skips the knockout rounds and goes directly to the live performances.

MGM Television, Warner Bros. Unscripted Television in collaboration with Warner Horizon, and ITV Studios The Voice USA, Inc. produce The Voice. Executive producers for the show include Mark Burnett, Audrey Morrissey, Amanda Zucker, Kyra Thompson, and Adam H. Sher. John de Mol is the show's creator.
