Before King Charles coronation, Kate Middleton and Prince William went to pub and ride the tube in London

King Charles III's coronation was followed by a delightful outing for Prince William and Kate Middleton!

The Prince and Princess of Wales visited the Dog & Duck pub in London on Thursday. While there, they spoke with the workers and tried their hand at pouring a pint.

William, 40, and Kate, 41, rode the tube to start their day.

The caption for a picture of William and Kate interacting with a passenger said, 'Jumping on the Elizabeth Line to Soho!'

The two engaged in conversation with other travellers as they rode to the tavern. The prince and princess were met by well-wishers who lined the streets as they approached the restaurant in the Soho district.

They started their visit after a quick walkabout during which they shook hands, interacted with people in the audience, and took selfies.

When Kate and William were photographed inside talking with the staff about how they are getting ready for the king's historic ceremonies this weekend, they were all smiles.

William took a seat behind the counter and, as his wife watched, demonstrated his pouring prowess by pouring a pint from the tap.

The royal couple posted a special thank you on social media after announcing their engagement.

Saying a heartfelt 'thank you' to the transport and hospitality staff members who will be working incredibly hard throughout the weekend of the coronation.

The outing occurs the day after Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, together with their parents William and Kate, were all photographed arriving for rehearsals on Wednesday.

William and George, a 9-year-old boy, will both play significant parts in Saturday's crowning of Charles. The other children of William and Kate will attend the celebrations even though no roles have been assigned to them.

Charles and his wife, Camilla, will formally receive their new titles as king and queen during the coronation.
