Sam Asghari Marks One-Year Wedding Anniversary with Britney Spears in Heartfelt Celebration

Sam Asghari is in a celebratory mood: the 29-year-old took to Instagram on Friday to pay tribute to his "better half," Britney Spears, on their first wedding anniversary.

In his first Instagram Story, Asghari posted a photo of her hand over his own, showing off his wedding ring. He superimposed the text "Happy 1 year to me & my better half" over the photo. The next Instagram Story was a commemorative glam video leading up to the special day, from a sketch of his and her wedding day attire to Asghari choosing and wearing a classic tuxedo.

It also showed Spears in her veil and wedding dress before she climbed into a carriage decorated with pink roses. The video, set to Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love," then shows the happy couple exchanging vows at the altar and walking down the aisle as husband and wife.

"One year married to the woman of my dreams," Asghari wrote in the video." Happy Anniversary My Love."

Asghari did not tag Spears in either post. Then again, he can't have done so. Spears -- for what seems like the umpteenth time -- deleted his Instagram account on Thursday. Spears deleted the account less than a week after publishing a photo of himself holding his youngest son, Jayden.

The photo, captioned simply "🌷 📷: GSI Media," shows Spears and her son coordinating in matching blue outfits, with her carrying him on her hip. The singer also deleted a comment on the post.

Spears shares Sean, 17, and Jayden, 16, with ex-husband Kevin Federline, who asked and received permission from Spears to move their children to Hawaii. Also just last month, the pop singer took to Instagram to correspond with her mother, Lynn Spears, who is visiting Los Angeles.

"My sweet mama showed up on my door step yesterday after 3 years ... It's been such a long time," the singer wrote." With family, there are always things to work out... But time heals all wounds! And after being able to tell you what I have held for a very long time, I feel so happy that we were able to try to make things RIGHT! I love you so much💕!!!!"

Spears and Asghari tied the knot last year in a small, intimate ceremony at her home; the two have been dating since 2016.

Asghari's agent, Brandon Cohen, told the media at the time, "I am so ecstatic that this day has come and they are getting married. I know he has wanted this for a long time. He is so thoughtful and supportive every step of the way. I am so grateful to have Sam in my life and I can't wait to see the future they will build."
