Chase Chrisley Shares Heartwarming Throwback with Mom Julie During Her Prison Sentence

The 27-year-old star of "Chrisley Knows Best" recently posted a throwback photo from his childhood on Instagram. The photo features a young Chase smiling at the camera while surrounded by other children, with Julie standing tall above him. The caption simply consists of a white heart emoji.

Comments on the post were filled with support for Julie, who is currently serving a federal prison sentence for bank and wire fraud, tax evasion, and tax-related charges. Julie will be in prison for seven years, while her husband Todd Chrisley is serving a 12-year sentence. Both of them will also face an additional 16 months of probation upon their release.

Julie and Todd began their prison sentences on January 17, 2023. Prior to their incarceration, the Chrisley parents hosted their podcast, "Chrisley Confessions." In one episode, Julie discussed how their impending separation was reshaping her perspectives on family and marriage.

Julie acknowledged the possibility of being separated from her husband for a period of time but emphasized the distinction between a temporary separation and having to say goodbye forever. She drew a parallel between their situation and the ALS diagnosis of Chase's fiancée Emmy Medders' mother, highlighting the heartbreak of having to say goodbye without the certainty of seeing each other again in this life.

Both Todd and Julie are currently appealing their case and have consistently maintained their innocence throughout the legal proceedings.
